The East Jefferson Rivals baseball team was eliminated from the Nisqually League playoffs after losing 8-12 to Cascade Christian School in Puyallup.
The Rivals clinched a playoff berth after finishing with a 6-11 (8-11 overall) record.
EJ earned the No. 5 seed out of six total positions, and faced the No. 4 seed Cascade Christian in an eliminator game for a spot in the Nisqually League semi-finals.
The May 9 loss signifies the end of the Rivals’ baseball season as they look to next year for another shot at the Nisqually League title.
