The Quilcene Rangers are heading to the district playoffs for football after going 9-0 this season when they beat Evergreen Lutheran 74-6 on Oct. 27.

The Rangers will compete in districts during the fifth game, at a time to still be determined, either Nov. 9 or 10, which will be hosted at Quilcene High School.

Quilcene is 5-0 in the 1B SeaTac League standings and 9-0 overall.

Tacoma Baptist is 4-1 in the league and 5-4 overall, followed by Rainier Christian who is 3-2 in the league and 4-4 overall.

The Rangers will take on the winner of the Nov. 2 or 3 district playoff game against Evergreen Lutheran or Darrington.

During the regular season, Quilcene defeated Evergreen Lutheran on Sept. 22 with the score of 68-0 and again Oct. 27.

The Rangers did not face off against Darrington during the regular season schedule.

The winning district team will go on to compete at the 1B State Football Tournament Nov. 23 through Dec. 1 at the Tacoma Dome.
