Oscar Lee Trammell

Port Ludlow, Wash.

July 10, 1918 – Nov. 6, 2016

Our family gathered around our proud, beautiful husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather as he left this earth November 6, 2016. We were honored to have Oscar Lee Trammell in our lives for ninety eight years. He was among the last brave men to have served his country during WWII as a master sergeant in the Marine Corp. Oscar served 20 years as a marine before his military retirement. He continued working with the military at Bangor Base and eventually a 30 year employment at Indian Island. He taught us to be proud citizens and to honor the flag. We will always carry with us his pride in our country.

Oscar is survived by his wife and sweetheart of many years, Marion Trammell. Marion means more to our family than she will ever know. Her unwavering faith and “Hotline to Heaven” has guided our family through many hard times. Our father loved her with all his heart and soul as she is a very special person. We honor her today for all the many years of caring and loving our father. In our thoughts we salute our Dad and thank him for teaching us respect. We already miss his quiet strength. He is survived by his children Pat, Mike, Nan and Den in spirit.

Memorial arrangements have not been finalized; his ashes will remain at his beloved property of 60 years until the plans are made.
