James Hurley Martin

James (Jim) Martin passed away on Dec. 3, 2016. He was a Naval Air Radio Operator stationed in Hawaii from 1958 to 1962.Jim moved to Port Townsend after retiring from the Santa Clara, Calif. fire department as a captain in 1998. He was a member of the yacht club for years and an avid bicyclist. He participated in the STP (Seattle to Portland) and many remember him fondly as walking his dog Yogi around town.
Jim leaves behind a daughter Christie Martin; granddaughter Brianne Cullen; stepson Rick Day; brother Dan Martin; and sister-in-law Therese Martin. A private memorial will be held in Jims home on Jan. 15, 2017. For more information please email Christie Martin at christienano@hotmail.com.
