Greg Adkins, age 47, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on January 24, 2017. He was born April 5, 1969 in Seattle, Wash. to Charles and Wanda Adkins. While attending Shorewood High School he met Jennifer Nicol. They graduated in 1987 and later were married on August 15, 1992 on Orcas Island. Greg was always taking care of others and making them laugh. He enjoyed cooking, reading and writing.
Greg was preceded in death by his wife Jennifer, father Charles and brothers Bob and Dave. He is survived by his son Chris, mother Wanda, brother Brian, and many loving relatives and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Greg’s life will be held at the American Legion, 209 Monroe St. in Port Townsend on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. You may share memories with the family at www.westfordfuneralhome.com.
