Lucille Fields (Toman) of Port Townsend died of natural causes on Feb. 6, 2018.
Lucille was born in Port Townsend to parents Rudolph Charles Toman and Nellie Doris Warren Toman. She was raised at the Point Wilson Lighthouse. Lucille graduated from Port Townsend schools in 1950.
Lucille married Clarence Fields on June 15, 1950 at the Chapel at Fort Worden. They were married 67 years, and were fortunate to travel together for many of them.
Lucille is survived by her husband Clarence Fields; son Chuck Fields; daughters Terri Swingler, Jacqueline Fields, and Pamela Ernst; and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
