At 12:48 p.m. Sunday, March 12 in Port Hadlock, a woman reported an unwanted man.

She said the man had been told not to come onto the property. He had been sending her veiled threats via text messages, including one that said “you haven’t seen anything yet.”

A deputy patrolled the area but could not find the person.

At 9:28 a.m. Monday, March 13 in Port Hadlock, an incident of malicious mischief was reported at the Port Hadlock Post Office.

The building had been hit sometime during the last weekend. Damage was discovered near the loading dock, above the roll-up garage door. Two yellow pillars had also been hit.

The caller thought the likely cause was a delivery driver who had backed up too far.

The postmaster contacted the delivery driver, but he denied backing up into the building.

The building did not have security cameras, so it was unknown how the damage occurred. The postmaster was given a case number for the insurance company.

At 7:31 a.m. Tuesday, March 14 in Port Ludlow, the Washington State Patrol relayed a report of a vehicle prowl at the parking lot of the visitor center on Highway 19 near Highway 104.

A woman said she had left her vehicle parked at the center for two weeks after getting permission.

She returned to find her vehicle damaged. Items has been stolen from inside the car.

Five car batteries were missing, as well as camping supplies and a Stihl-brand blower. Jumper cables were also taken.
