On Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12 p.m., there will be a brief ceremony to inter the ashes of James F. Bunce Jr. at Marrowstone Island Cemetery. James grew up in the area and graduated from Chimacum High School in 1953. After his career, James and his wife Agnes retired to Marrowstone Island for a time. James passed away on September 17, 2022. After the interment ceremony, all are welcome at the Commander’s House on Fort Worden in Port Townsend for memories and refreshments.
