George Edward Cadero, died January 15, 2018, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He was 77. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Gerald (Jerry), Joseph (Joe), William (Bill), and Donna.

George was born Aug. 23, 1940, to Joseph and Loretta (Enos) Cadero in Port Townsend, Wash., Jefferson County. He graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1959 and later served two years in the U.S. Army. George was a member of a local band in the ‘70s called The Quiet Three, where he played the guitar. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics from WWU in 1964. George was employed by the State of Washington Employment Security Department until he retired in 2011. He was computer savvy and loved sharing with his family and friends his lighthearted and marvelous character through daily emails and Facebook posts. He enjoyed football and was a devout follower of many Seattle sports teams. His love for guitars and Chevy Camaros endured throughout his life. His musical passions extended to sequencing MIDI music and his keyboard and singing. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends whom he adored.

A service will be held at St Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church on February 24th at noon. Reception to follow back at the church after gravesite burial.
