Edward Clayton Radley, 72 was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on May 3rd, 2019. Ed was a cherished member of our community and will be missed by many. Ed was born to Kathryn and Harold Radley on March 20th, 1947 in Port Townsend, WA and spent almost his entire life here. Ed enlisted in the U.S. Army at the Age of 17 and proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the Vietnam War, prior to receiving an honorable discharge in December, 1969. Upon returning to Port Townsend he became a general contractor and constructed numerous buildings on the Olympic Peninsula as well as in Oregon and Hawaii. Ed’s passions included cooking, watching sports, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandchildren. He never missed a holiday concert, dance recital, or T-ball game. Sergeant Edward Radley was more than a soldier, father, and grandfather. He was a kind hearted, charitable, person who helped others any way he could. He was his son’s best friend.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge on June 22nd at 3:00pm. It will be a potluck so please bring your favorite dish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edward C. Radley Memorial Fund, set up at Kitsap Credit Union.
