The Port Townsend School District Board unanimously approved a three-year contract renewal for superintendent Linda Rosenbury at its June 22 meeting.
The contract includes a $14,500 yearly salary raise, as well as a $5,000 bonus stipend in recognition of Rosenbury’s earned doctoral degree. Rosenbury will also receive 30 days of paid vacation time per year, as well as reimbursement for all business travel expenses.
The new employment agreement sets a base salary of $172,000 annually.
Her previous contract, covering the time frame of July 2022 through June 2025, had an annual salary of $157,500.
Rosenbury was hired by the Port Townsend School District in 2021.
The terms of the contract state that Rosenbury must reside as a permanent resident within the Port Townsend school district boundaries until it ends.
“I am humbled and grateful for the trust and confidence the school has placed in me,” Rosenbury said, “and I’m committed to leading our school community in our promise of knowing, supporting, and engaging each and every student.”
The new agreement runs through June 2026.
