It is with great sadness the family of Carol Bishop Myers announces her passing. We were completely unprepared for this unexpected loss and miss her greatly. She passed suddenly on February 4, 2024 in Tonasket, WA where she called home. Carol was a Chimacum High School graduate of 1967.
Carol was born December 23, 1948, in Port Townsend, WA to Edward (Bud) and Aldena (Dena) Bishop. She leaves behind husband, Richard (Dick) Myers of 56 years. Son, Anthony (Tony) Myers, spouse Susette, her brothers Jim Bishop, spouse Janice, Loren Bishop, spouse Susan and sister, Linda Lopeman, husband
Randy. Grandchildren: Devin Jones, Christopher Myers, Brianna Spect, spouse Harry, Emilee Myers, Isaak Whitworth and Isabella (Ellie) Whitworth. Along with five great-grandchildren: Sophia, Emery, Dempsey, Annabelle and Alystar.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Dena Bishop, her daughter Tracey Whitworth, and niece, Jodi Cossell, brother-in-law’s Ralph Myers and Don Myers.
Carol was always busy completing many projects such as crocheted blankets that she made for her grandchildren, potholders she gave to family and friends, many needlepoint and cross-stitch pictures you could view throughout her home, a
table set up specifically for a jigsaw puzzle she would work on, playing board games and the hours spent canning fruits and vegetables not to mention the many great baking items she shared at family/friend gatherings.
Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate the life of Carol Myers. We will gather together on April 21 st , 2:30PM, at Port Orchard Seventh-Day Adventist Church (5000 Bethel RD SE, Port Orchard, WA 98367), to remember Carol who will be greatly missed.
