Born on November 13th, 1949 in Rockford Illinois Barb passed peacefully in her sons Port Angeles home on May 15th, 2019. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; Norma and Arthur, her brother Robert and her husband Murph. Barb is survived by her son Robert, brother Jim, sisters Gayle and June, her grandchildren Carl and Amber and great grandchildren; Emily, Collin, William and Lucas. A longtime resident of Quilcene, Washington, Barb was involved in the community museum. Barb enjoyed helping others and her careers in nursing and security showed that. After retiring Barb enjoyed spending her days visiting with friends, of which she has many, and could often be found gardening and working in her yard. Barb lived her life exactly as she wanted and would want to be remembered that way. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Barb’s name to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.
A celebration of her life will be held at Loggers Landing, a favorite Quilcene location on Saturday June 1st at 4PM.
