Anne Elizabeth (Higdon) Lawson "Annie Burd" was born in Port Townsend, WA on January 19th, 1962 to Janet and Robert Higdon. She passed away on September 27th, 2023 at Jefferson General Hospital in Port Townsend, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wm. David Lawson and her father Robert Higdon. Anne is survived by her mother Janet Higdon, sister Dana Imislund Kern, her daughters Erin Kennedy, Lindsay (Kennedy) Gunter (Shaun), Hannah (Lawson) Jacobs (Andy), as well as her granddaughters Eleanor Gunter and Avery Jacobs and grandson Lucas Jacobs.
Anne was not only a loving mother and grandmother, but she also had a talent for creating beautiful floral arrangements using the flowers from her own garden.
Anne will be deeply missed by family, friends and all that knew her. Her presence and warm spirit will be cherished and remembered forever. A service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers we ask that children's books be donated to children in need. In addition, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team for their compassionate care during Anne's final days. We are also immensely thankful to Lori Whinery and Dawn Rog for their dedicated support and assistance in her care. Their kindness and help meant the world to us.
