Personally, I would like Trump to remove himself from future political office, especially on the national level, he's too polarizing a personality. I was hoping that by now you Trump-haters would have moved on, but I guess that was wishful thinking.

In 2024 I will ask myself if I am better off under a Democrat administration or not, so far not, but as you said Tom it's early.

Regarding our elections, I think there are a lot of problems there, Trump established a commission in 2017 to look into it but that commission had to end because too many states objected, our own state asshat A.G. Ferguson among them. My thinking is if you can't prove you are a living U.S. citizen then you shouldn't be voting. There are things like extending the vote from one day to maybe a weekend that could be adopted, but absentee and mail-in voting are rife with fraud.
