The death of a Port Townsend man is under investigation following a tragic skateboard accident late last month.
Jack Allen Bishop, 25, was allegedly being pulled by a scooter while riding a longboard in the area of Seventh and Sheridan streets when he struck his head. The incident was reported at
1:47 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
According to an incident report obtained from the Port Townsend Police Department, Bishop had an apparent head injury when officers arrived.
Bishop was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died from his injuries.
Both the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Port Townsend Police Department are investigating the situation as a possible vehicular homicide.
