Skagit Valley artist Todd Horton works on a new piece of art during a live painting session at Northwind Art’s Grover Gallery on March 13.
Horton’s latest series is an imagined journey of poet William Blake and features depictions of a metaphysical voyage.
“Todd is an artist-adventurer, carrying on the traditions of the early Northwest School artists by drawing inspiration directly from nature . . . his landscapes capture and reflect the feel of this region with their melded colors, misty tones, and wide vistas,” said Kathleen Garrett, exhibits director at the Grover Gallery.
