Port Townsend voters, we have been ever so many ways involved in “Politics on the Peninsula” since 1964. We know a good candidate when we see one!

Our experience, insights and instincts tell us that Libby Wennstrom will be a hardworking, informed, fair minded and dedicated public servant on the Port Townsend City Council.

She has what it takes! We urge you to give her your vote. Thank you!

Does not every one of the 3 Council positions have but one candidate?

So much for heated debates. Vote Onlychoice!

    Correction-

Leader story details 3 candidates for this position.

Good news that more stepped up for this position. Can downward momentum be changed with Faber and his non sustainable voting record poised to be next appointed Mayor, and City Manager not following laws and codes?

TYLER VEGA is an outstanding candidate for this position. He is a progressive leader - the acting vice chair of the WA Progressive Party. Libby is more of an establishment politician and is not likely to bring us the kind of courageous leadership needed to address the housing crisis and climate change, especially with her long history of political infighting. Libby has even come out against Whole WA Healthcare!

Tyler Vega states, "On the local level, the priority is Housing. The big conversation is the future of the Golf Course. All of this needs to be considered within the context of sustainability and the Green New Deal. Change starts at home."

    TYLER WILL HELP!

~ Experienced activist with inclusive community-oriented attitude.

~ Great listener committed to represent you and make sure community voices are heard and heeded.

~ Supports affordable housing, climate action, universal health care, resilience/disaster preparation and energy independence.

~ Acting co-chair of DSA – North Olympic Chapter, as well as acting vice chair of the WA Progressive Party.

~ Musician, computer specialist, healthcare assistant, mariner (50 ton US Coast Guard Masters License) and father.
