A project to improve safety on US 101 between Forks and Queets finished eight days ahead of schedule, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The work included a new turn lane for southbound

Crews from Barcott Construction also relocated highway lighting closer to Lower Hoh Road for improved visibility.
WSDOT thanks travelers for their patience and cooperation during the project.
