The gray skies broke just in time for the sun to shine on the Uptown Street Fair Parade last Saturday, Aug. 20.
The Port Townsend Farmers Market plus an additional craft fair filled the streets with plenty to see and shop through. For the little ones, PT Artscape provided an array of activities with painting, weaving, and a pipe-cleaner sculpture station.
Live music kept the crowd’s enthusiasm high from the start, but the Unexpected Brass Band kick it up as they wound their way down the street at the end of the parade to whip the crowd into a fervor.
