Two more residents in Jefferson County have been infected with COVID-19, Jefferson County Public Health reported late Wednesday.
The total number of COVID cases in Jefferson County stood at 127 Wednesday afternoon.
The two infections included a mid-county man in his 60s, and a Port Townsend woman in her 60s.
County health officials said 86 patients in Jefferson County have recovered from COVID-19 and are no longer hospitalized.
No deaths in the county have been linked to the coronavirus.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 12,064 patients have been tested for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and 11,841 have tested negative.
Test results are still pending for 96 people.
Most of the confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Jefferson County — 65 through Tuesday — have been found in men. Sixty-two women who live in the county have tested positive for COVID-19 through Nov. 17.
Through Tuesday, 61 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 52 in mid-county residents; and 14 in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
