The Nhatt cartoon published in the Feb. 16 issue is nothing short of inciting hatred of our fine law enforcement officers who regularly put their lives on the line for us.
The cartoon suggests that our police officers find trivial infractions in order to harass otherwise innocent citizens and justify violent police action against them in the name of justice.
This malicious propaganda is aimed at indoctrinating your readers with a negative attitude toward law enforcement.
You, the editor, are responsible for permitting publication of this cartoon. Why don’t you print, instead, accounts of the myriad of positive actions undertaken by the police every day.
You should apologize personally to our local law enforcement personnel in the next issue.
