Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported Thursday in Jefferson County.
The three new infections pushed the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Jefferson County to 479 Thursday.
Jefferson County Public Health does not provide information on individual cases, but a review of updated case reports — compared to previous case information — indicate the three new cases involved a resident in their 30s, and two residents in their 60s.
Two cases were found in Port Townsend, and the other case was in the mid-county area. Two women and one man tested positive for coronavirus.
A dozen residents were still in isolation July 22 due to potential COVID-19 contact.
Test results are pending for another five residents.
There have been 26,445 tests for COVID-19 in Jefferson County since the start of the pandemic, and 25,961 have resulted in negative results.
In Jefferson County, 444 people have recovered from COVID-19 and 34 people have been hospitalized for the disease.
Four deaths of Jefferson County residents have been linked to COVID-19.

Were they vaccinated? That would be helpful to JC residents. Don't need names or other details. Are these people sick from the variants, having not been vaccinated? Let's not make it more confusing than it already is, your not doing anyone a favor.
