More than 3,000 homes and businesses lost power Friday morning, according to the Jefferson County Public Utility District.
An outage that cut electricity to 3,190 PUD customers in Port Townsend was reported just after 9:30 a.m. Oct. 30.
Smaller outages were also reported elsewhere in the PUD's service area, including in Port Ludlow.
The power company said a total of 3,227 customers were without electricity just before 10 a.m. Friday.
