The saying goes that, “It takes a village to raise a child.” That is so true.
In a school it takes many people to make things happen. At Salish Coast Elementary we want to thank some very important people that make school possible for students. Our maintenance department makes sure that our facilities are safe, clean, and operating properly.
Nutrition makes sure that our students get tasty, healthy meals and greet students. Transportation ensures students get to and from school, deliver meals, and greet students each day. Our technology department works hard to make sure students’ devices are working properly and that teachers have properly working equipment and technological support. Secretaries provide critical information for parents, manage the health room, answer questions, and solve problems everyday. Educational support personnel provide additional support for students, sometimes personalized lessons, small groups, or supervising recess.
Together these fantastic people make sure students are healthy, happy, cared for, and safe. There is no way that our school, Salish Coast Elementary could function without these amazing people. They do not get enough recognition, but we are so very grateful for each and every one of them.
