Yesterday, Jan. 22, 2020, I was in the QFC store at the Starbucks ordering coffee. I overheard a conversation from a young man that appeared to be 16 to 18 years of age. He was discussing your question of the week asking people, “what do you think President Trump’s State of the Union address should be about?”

I was surprisingly amazed how this young adult pointed out how your paper first asked a question that was intentional to get heated responses and more surprised that he pointed out how you listed five negative comments about the president and only one supportive comment. He was able to realize that your paper was in fact biased and reporting “Fake News.”

I don’t think you realize how smart young people are becoming and are able to quickly see through biased news reporting. Well done young man, well done!

My question of the week, “Is the Port Townsend Leader anti Semitic for not reporting any news about the 75th Anniversary of the Holocaust?”

This is why newspapers across the nation are dying, they have become political bias garbage supporting one side or the other and do not report on significant events locally or globally. I am so grateful to world news apps from other countries so I can stay informed on global events.
