This letter is to praise the bus drivers who have provided safe and responsible transit service all over Jefferson County. For me I depend on the bus to save gas and to leave less of a carbon imprint. I have been taking the bus ever since I moved here in 1991 when I had no car.
Even though I now have an older car I still choose the bus if it’s only to buy groceries or go uptown.
We are lucky to have such a reliable service. Sometimes I am the only passenger on the bus. Other times I have enjoyed sharing stories with other riders. I know that I am grateful for this opportunity to sit, read, or just look out the window at the birds, the fields, and skies! Now that spring has come it is even brighter to see all the colors of the wildflowers.
