About 30 T@B teardrop campers gathered at Fort Worden over the weekend for the Pacific Northwest Jamboree of T@B campers.
Most of the compact travel trailers have all the comforts of home, including toilets, showers and even two-burner stoves, without the excess weight and the space requirements of much larger trailers. The trailers are light enough that one person can rotate the unit by themselves. T@B owners take pride in the design and comfort of their mini campers and customize them with painted scenes and sun shades. Teardrop owners from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Canada attended the event, with some visiting Port Townsend and camping in the local campgrounds for the first time.
