Regarding the disturbance at Mountain View, the recent statement from the city of Port Townsend should be the last word.
However I have one last thing to say. With all the prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination we work to rid ourselves and our community of, why promote ageism with the Leader’s continued use of the phrase “80-year-old woman.” It implies that being 80 years old either caused her behavior or excuses it. Her age is not relevant. Only her behavior is.
