In my 16-year tenure on the City Council, Deborah Stinson stands out as one of the most capable members with whom I have worked. She is smart, responsible, hard working and collaborative. She listens, she considers all sides, and she does her own research as well as the ‘homework’ preparation needed for meetings.
While holding her own opinions, she seeks common ground among fellow participants. Deborah has the temperament needed to be effective on the council.
After eight years on the council, Deborah has the local government experience (and even longer community involvement) needed to aid the new city manager (the first in 20 years and only our second one) integrate into our community. This is an important transition time for our city. Deborah is the person I want in place to facilitate this change. She is the person I want as my representative, standing in for me, making decisions on my behalf on the City Council. Please join me in voting for Deborah Stinson.
