The second annual Soup Sharing and Community Bowls fundraiser returned to Finnriver Farm & Cidery from Dec. 11 to Dec. 13.
For a $25 donation, patrons received a locally crafted pottery bowl, made and donated for the event by the potters at Laughing Gnome Pottery, Center Valley Pottery, and Millbrook Clayworks, and an optional serving of soup, available for either takeout or dine-in.
All proceeds went to benefit Olympic Neighbors, a nonprofit which serves people with developmental disabilities and their families by providing safe, affordable housing and staff support so they can thrive in the community.
The event sold out quickly, according to farm officials.
