The Port Townsend City Council is considering an Inclusionary Housing Ordinance.
This type of ordinance requires any new housing development to include a specified percentage of affordable housing.
There are new developments underway now that had we had such an ordinance already in place, we would see several dozen new units for our workforce.
Let’s not miss out on future developments. If you support this idea, please let members of the city council know.
