What a wonderful experience to listen to seven seniors share their project on May 25 at Fort Worden.
The topics were all so different and kept me laughing and listening to the challenges and frustrations a student experiences during this process.
How one changes and learns and adapts without giving up hope that in the end something good will result.
As a retired educator I enjoyed listening to the young men and woman express their appreciation for their mentors who encouraged them throughout the year. Port Townsend High School students are to be praised for their dedication to following their ideas to fruition. Many valuable lessons are learned through these life hands-on experiences.
