Talks on housing options, diversifying income streams, downsizing and estate planning are a few of the topics to be addressed at a free Aging Options Senior Fair, scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 W. Valley Road, Chimacum.
The event is planned for noon-4 p.m., and includes free screenings for glucose, pulse diagnostics, blood pressure checks and more, according to organizers.
The following is the lineup of presenters:
12:30 p.m. – Stephen Sklar, “Diversify your income stream.”
12:55 p.m. – Paul Fiorini, “Hospice: How to live your last phase of life with quality.”
1:20 p.m. – Linda Kaahanui, “Downsizing: keep it, sell it or toss it.”
1:45 p.m. – Pam Duerr, “Housing options and what’s best for you.”
2:10 p.m. – Richard Tizzano, “Estate planning and why it is important.”
2:35 p.m. – Nancy Krieg, “Veterans’ aid and attendance.”
3 p.m. – Charity Jammeh, “Music enriches the lives of those with memory loss.”
3:25 p.m. – Amber Benner, “Prediabetes: The good, the bad and the ugly.”
