Dates and bands have been announced for Port Townsend’s biggest music festival.
THING returns with an eclectic and intimate three-day, all-ages music and arts festival for its third year at historic Fort Worden in Port Townsend on Aug. 25-27.
This year features a tightly curated lineup including music headliners Fleet Foxes, Lil Yachty, Thundercat, Cigarettes After Sex, Sylvan Esso, and Tash Sultana; comedians Sarah Sherman, Kate Berlant, and Jacqueline Novak; podcasts featuring Amanda Knox and Christopher Robinson, Ken Jennings and John Roderick, Ben Lee and Ione Skye; and more.
The event is presented by the Seattle Theatre Group and Adam Zacks.
An exclusive ticket pre-sale offer is available through 10 p.m. Thursday, March 16 using code STG at THINGnw.org.
A discount for locals only is available at the Fort Worden box office and not available online.
Those interested can receive 20 percent off 3-day general admission passes only with limited availability.
No password or verification needed to purchase. People can simply show up at Fort Worden Commons and let them know they’re local and want the offer.
