Robert L. Abel passed away due to natural causes on March 26, 2020 at the home of his daughter in Port Townsend, Washington.
Bob practiced many different types of law in Salem, Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon with great professionalism and care for his clients. Our family has always been very proud of Bob’s many accomplishments and appreciative of his support and advice throughout our lives. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Bob spent his retirement years boating and bicycling while traveling the Pacific Northwest with his grandson Forrest Little, sister June Read, niece Debbie Daggit (Dan), nephew Mike Morris and cousins Jan and Chuck Heauser and John and Laurel Larimer. He will be missed by his dear friend Asia Thogmartan whom he mentored for many years, his longtime friend Bill Read in Salem.
If you feel so inclined, the family asks that a donation be made to any local nonprofit that keeps the elderly with their pet. We want to share our love and respect for our hospice team. WOW, what a blessing.
