The East Jefferson Rivals varsity football team’s three-game winning streak was snapped Saturday as Bellevue Christian High School defeated EJ 61-20 away from home.
The loss hurts EJ’s odds of making it to the playoffs, with the loss sliding their record to 3-5 (3-2 conference).
Next up for the Rivals is the final matchup of the season.
The game is set for Friday, Nov. 4 on the road versus Granite Falls High School, whose current record is 1-8 (0-4 conference).
