The weather is forecasted to be sunny and approaching the 60s this Sunday, May 1, making it a perfect day to join in on the 19th annual Rhody Bike Tour.
Thanks to the Port Townsend Bike Association, riders can choose their own riding distance – 32, 45, 55 or 62 miles. Families can join in as well for a shorter ride on the Larry Scott Trail.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Haines Place Park-and-Ride (next to Safeway in Port Townsend) and ends at 10 a.m. The course closed at 4 p.m.
At the park-and-ride, grab a cup of coffee from local brewers. Afterwards, join the bicycle association for salmon sandwiches from Cape Cleare and ice cream from Elevated Ice Cream.
