Mike Miller has resigned from the Jefferson County Planning Commission.
Miller, one of three District 2 representatives on the nine-member commission, has notified the county that he is moving out of state with his family and can no longer serve.
His term on the advisory body was set to expire March 17, 2023.
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners accepted Miller’s resignation at its meeting Monday.
