At 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, a gas station employee in the 2600 block of East Sims Way informed police of an ownerless dog walking around the station. Employees put the pooch in the bathroom until officers arrived, and it had a collar, but no identification.

At 8:15 a.m. Thursday, July 14, a man in the 1900 block of Blaine Street came to the back door of the police station, and appeared to be looking around and pushing on the door.

He was contacted by officers and said that people were after him and he wanted to leave his fingerprints on the door so he could be found. Officers believe the man is dealing with ongoing health issues, and said they’d check in on the man Monday.

At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 14, a neighbor in the 300 block of Logan Street reported that their Pride flag had been stolen and a window of their car was smashed.

At 11:55 p.m. Thursday, July 14, in the 2000 block of Washington Street, a noise complaint was made by a hotel guest.

The reporting party noted multiple loud sounds, screaming, and yelling from the hotel room. Officers arrived and contacted the reporting party outside the hotel, who told them the guests had a disagreement and it wasn’t physical at all.

No crime had occurred and the officers left.
