At 10:45 p.m. Friday, April 22, a possible burglary in progress was reported in the 3000 block of West Sims Way.

Officers arrived at the property and were notified of a potential prowler in the area.

No crime had occurred. The woman was given water and left the area.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, April 23, a caller in the 1300 block of Logan Street reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor’s dog. The canine had been barking a lot, and the caller wanted police to investigate the dog for possible neglect.

At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 24, an animal bite was reported in the 600 block of McPherson Street. The reporting party was an employee with an express clinic, and they were required to report the animal bite to police.

At 4:25 p.m. Sunday, April 24, in the 2800 block of Hastings Avenue, a horse had gotten loose on a nearby trail and was headed toward the road. The reporting party said the horse was white and they were afraid it could be hurt by a car if it got on the road.

Seven minutes later, the horse was captured and the police were no longer needed.

At 6:50 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the Sims Way and McPherson Street intersection, an elderly woman appeared to be confused and lost. She was described as a woman in her 90s with a walker. Officers attempted to contact the vehicle’s owner to no avail, and returned to the same spot a few hours later to find the vehicle was gone.

At 8:35 p.m. Sunday, April 24,
a caller in the 500 block of Hendricks Street told police that they heard what sounded like a woman yelling nearby.
