The Port Townsend City Council will devote a large portion of its Monday meeting to a briefing on managing the deer population in town.
City staff will give a presentation on the topic, including the legality, effectiveness, cost, social acceptability, capacity to implement, and time dedicated to potential population control of local deer.
The council workshop meeting is set to start at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12 and the public can listen to the live discussion by visiting cityofpt.us/citycouncil/page/agendasminutesvideos.
