A 55-year-old Port Ludlow man escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 3 in Kitsap County.
The Port Ludlow man was driving north on the highway in a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and had stopped for traffic when his truck was hit from behind by a 63-year-old Sequim man in a 2016 Toyota 4Runner.
The crash happened just after 4 p.m. March 18 on Highway 3 near Big Valley Road.
The Sequim man was not injured, but a passenger in his Toyota, a 35-year-old Sequim woman, was hurt and was taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale for treatment by an aid unit.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash was caused by following too close and charges were pending.
