The passenger in this Volkswagen Beetle was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and the driver treated for minor injuries where the car was caught in the middle of a five-car, chain-reaction accident. The wreck occurred about 7:55 a.m. on State Route 20 just outside Port Townsend when a Jeep inbound to PT had stopped, attempting a left turn into A Plus Equipment Rental's access, according to East Jefferson Fire Rescue. Four inbound and one outbound vehicle were involved; only two people were injured, according to EJFR. The Washington State Patrol is investigating. UPDATE: The WSP confirmed with The Leader that it is legal to make a left turn into this driveway. Photo by Bill Beezley, East Jefferson Fire Rescue
