Darien Kincaid of Port Townsend started working downtown at 8 a.m. on Earth Day, April 22, and was one of the last volunteers to leave Adams Street Park in the annual Port Townsend Main Street Program’s Earth Day Spring Clean Up event. Rhododendron Festival royalty and United Good Neighbors pitched in to help plant and weed, and volunteers also helped set up the Main Street chairs and tables on Taylor Street. At the Cotton Building, Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue hosted an art event for kids ages 10-12, who were invited to draw live raptors. Photo by Katie Kowalski
