Jefferson County public health officials reported Wednesday that two more residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
A south county woman in her 30s and a mid-county man in his 50s have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, health officials announced Jan. 13.
A total of 14 people in Jefferson County were still awaiting COVID-19 test results late Wednesday.
Health officials also said 17 people with COVID-19 remain in isolation.
The number of residents who have recovered from COVID stands at 203. A total of 22 residents have been hospitalized after getting the coronavirus, and two deaths in Jefferson County have been attributed to the disease.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 16,528 tests have been administered for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and 16,254 tests have come back negative.
Through Wednesday, 115 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 119 in mid-county residents; and 26 in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
More females than males have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in Jefferson County; 134 females have been confirmed with the coronavirus, and 126 males.
