Andrea Smith is the new Home Health clinical manager for Jefferson Healthcare.
Home Health is a Medicare-certified agency that delivers skilled intermittent care in the home, private residence, adult family home, or an assisted living facility.
Smith, a registered nurse, will lead a highly trained medical team of nurses, therapists, certified nursing assistants and medical social workers.
Hospital officials said the Home Health team has been an integral part in the fight against COVID-19, often visiting patients in their homes to provide follow-up care.
Smith is a veteran and graduate of Aspen University. She comes to the Pacific Northwest from Southern California.
