Our Little Library on 19th Street, just east of the Sheridan four-way stop, was vandalized two times in the last five days. A pack of teenage boys roaming the streets at 2 a.m. broke the plexiglass door and tore up the ibrary twice now.
I fixed it the first time, but will be removing it after this second event in less than a week. During our time of stay home and be healthy why are six to 12 boys roaming our streets in the early hours wreaking havoc? Where are the parents of these hoodlums? This library has been popular and used by many, as it is on the walking route to the new elementary school.
I fear our little town is becoming less safe.
