This is now officially a very frightening time, and I hope people are waking up to the reality.
It hasn’t even been three months, and the man who calls himself the president of this country has already managed to undo (or made the attempt to undo) any number of critical social services and environmental protections that provide for us all and for a sane society.
Even worse, he’s now also encouraged, if not outright approved, the dropping of the greatest conventional bomb at our disposal. He also was responsible for bombing Syria without congressional approval, which at least invoked a public reprimand from several congressional Democrats and Republicans. His unilateral actions are in direct violation of the constitution, so there needs to be much more than a reprimand for this egomaniac who is willful, impulsive and completely uninterested in actually learning anything about foreign policy and diplomacy.
How long will it be before greater bombs are used? And how long before some start falling in this country? It is sickening and so unnecessary, especially when a margin of almost 2.9 million voters rejected the current agenda this administration is attempting to enact. The time for speaking up is now, because I believe more than ever that it is up to all of us to work together and not be manipulated by those who thrive on divisiveness and chaos.
We are entering dangerous territory with a person who has no idea what he is doing.
