I was glad to see that
Congressman Derek Kilmer is concerned
about 23 million Americans
losing healthcare coverage if the
Republican tax break for the rich
passes (Leader June 21 issue).
Will he then sign on as a co-sponsor
of HR 676, the United States
National Health Care Act aka the
Expanded and Improved Medicare
for All Act? This bill is co-sponsored
by 112 of his fellow Democratic
Congressmen and women.
Every other advanced country in
the world provides universal healthcare
for all of its citizens. It is time
that our Congressman supports
healthcare for all by co-sponsoring
HR 676.
